PWCF is supporting the Atlantic Salmon Trust to fund a tagging and tracking project that will uncover the secrets of the missing salmon to help prevent further decline of this iconic species.
Penny Brohn UK, a Bristol based cancer charity of which The Prince of Wales is Patron, received funding to develop its nutritional programme for 3,000 people and improve their well-being as well as reduce the impact of treatment.

PWCF awarded a major grant to the North Wales Wildlife Trust towards their work supporting swifts, a bird which migrates to Britain for 3 months of the year and is the fastest bird in level flight.
The Prince of Wales's Charitable Fund awarded a grant to Tusk to support their work to tackle poaching and the Illegal Wildlife Trade in Sub-Saharan Africa. We funded two projects which focussed on training rangers in proven interception tracking tactics, training park level intelligence staff for their role and improving the co-ordination of information sharing between protected areas.
The Place Strategy was developed on the basis that entrenched social issues need an integrated response. In collaboration with The Prince of Wales’s charities, our work in Burnley, Tottenham, Redcar and Burslem, had a significant impact and a ripple effect on the surrounding areas.
The Prince’s Trust's 'Get into' programmes are short courses that develop young people’s skills in a specific sector and support them into jobs. They are available for unemployed young people age 16-25. The courses also help young people to improve teamwork and communication skills and boost their confidence.
PWCF supports Youth United to reach more young volunteers. Youth United is a coalition of charities and agencies working together to encourage more young people and adults to volunteer in their local communities.
